JYAN’s priorities in relation to peace, safety, justice and the rule of law include a focus on a human rights-based approach to crime and violence reduction, child rights and protection (including for children in state care and children in conflict with the law), as well as systems addressing the elimination of family and gender-based violence (in all forms) and the training of and partnering with key agencies and programs within the response.
